Being located in the Mardi Gras capital of the world, with more than 70 parades in a two-week period, we have become leaders in custom reviewing stand design and construction. We have the capability of providing safe, sturdy platforms and reviewing stands for any occasion.
Center Staging has created reviewing platforms that are accessed from second floor balconies and windows, from the ground by way of custom built stair units and by way of ADA ramps. We adhere to the International Building Code, Life Safety code as well as the local codes that may be in place.
We have also provided custom designed units that have been used for corporate meetings in hotels, convention centers and arenas. Our most unique application has been a 7,000 sq. ft. deck over the seating of the recently restored Saenger Theater in New Orleans. We have also done similar projects in Charlotte, N.C.’s Ovens Auditorium. Prior to Katrina, we annually installed over 30,000 sq. ft. of stage deck and scaffolding over the seats of the Louisiana Superdome, now the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
